On this plain of ice...

On this plain of ice I stand,
a plain of ice, void of all life.
White covers the land.
The sky a shade of gray.

The sun hides himself from the world.
Sluggish clouds float from atop.
Gusts of wind push me down to my knees.
The cold slowly creeps to this cadaverous shell I call my body.

Snow falls from the sky,
covering my head with white.
Tears fall from my eyes,
freezing in mid-air.

My body goes completely numb,
my soul, my heart.
Emotions are gone,
void of all feelings.

The snow covers my body,
I kneel down feeling nothing.
My body completely under the snow, I can't rise.
Life slowly escapes me in this plain of ice.

2008 here i come....

As the year 2007 slowly comes to it's end,
so is another chapter of my life....
And behold, a new one begins!

Happy new year guys!! Another year, another set of poems(and i hope i could improve in my story writing). anyways hope you guys still visit my blog, tnx for all the comments and criticisms(yes even those are worth thanking for). those who became part of my 2007 I thank you, and i hope you'll all still be there in my 2008.
